With only a couple of games remaining the National Championship picture is still not clear. The only clear thing is the winner of the Big XII will play the winner of the SEC. Sorry USC and Penn State. Moving on from that UNC and ECU had letdowns for weekends. ECU is just plain struggling now and didn't deserve to win the previous two games either. UNC is not struggling they are playing better teams and they are still playing playing well. However, having the backup QB for this many games is starting to show why he is a backup. He just can't bring the consistent level of play that is expected of a starter.
ECU is a whole different story. I just want to know what happened. They have lost some due to injuries but both QBs are still there and the best receiver and play maker is still available. It is awful to watch, it looks as if there is no hope not matter who is out there at QB or catching passes. It has been bad to watch and hard to take pride in anything the Pirates are doing, even during their so called wins. Hopefully they can turn it around and get some help and still make the conference championship game.
As a UNC and ECU fan I can only hope they keep winning and that some others ahead of them lose as well. It will be an interesting finish to this season.

Wow, you are a true football fan. I try to stay on top of the pro headlines to make conversation with my husband and 8 yr old son who seems to know way more than I do about football. I had heard that ECU had a really nice squad. Gotta catch up with what's going on with them.
As a Duke fan you can understand that College Football time is really not my favorite time of year. However, I do love to watch both Florida and Tx-Tech play just because they have the two best offenses in the country. I think that Alabama will fall to Florida in the SEC Title game and I think that Tx-Tech hangs on in a close game against OU and then goes on to win the Big 12.
